This team is offered at the clubs discretion and is the highest level trainings. This team also takes a considerable commitment. If you are interested in playing on a National team, and you have not been playing previously on a Ballistic 6 month team, please fill out this form. National level players must have the ability to commit in full to the program, and have 1) high skill level/potentials and/or experience above par with the age division. This team will function very similarly to a 6-month team, including 3 days a week practices, the main difference being some locations of tournaments being larger and of considerable distance away. National team tryouts will occur on July 22, and 23rd and if there are any potential spots left there will be follow up individual tryouts possibly in September.

If a National Team player decides not to finish their seasons, they are still responsible for the financial obligations for the whole year contract. Any prorations made will be determined by Ballistic Volleyball.

6 month Club Teams (Skill and Potential Based)

Term: November 8th through the end of May

Cost: $1900 total, (see payments schedules)

3 days a week practices, Monday/Wednesday/Friday

8 tournament dates minimum per 6 months

This team is offered at the clubs discretion and is the highest level trainings. If you are interested in playing on a 6 month team please mention it on the last line of the tryout form. These players must have three things… 1)the desire to be students of volleyball and experience with extensive practices and workouts. 2)the ability to commit in full to the program, and 3) high skill level/potentials and/or experience above par with the age division. If able to meet skill and commitment requirements, the majority of the team will run 6-months.  This team will compete with other club, regional and national teams in the state and possibly from adjacent states. If a player is not offered a 6 month team, they will be offered a 3 month team. There are not separate tryouts for these teams, they are evaluated as a whole and presented with invitations after tryouts.

If a 6 month player decides not to finish their seasons, they are still responsible for the financial obligations for the season they are currently in (winter or spring). Any prorations made will be determined by Ballistic Volleyball.

Hybrid Players

Term:
Winter: November to beginning of March(last tournament to end season), or

Spring: March 11th to end of May (last tournament to end season)
What is hybrid? Why can’t we just play 3 months?
Hybrid IS 3 months, but with two exceptions. 1) More practice, and 2) play with a potentially higher level team.
At older ages (14 and up), there might NOT be a 3-month team option, so if the extra practice is a conflict please tell us about it.

We form teams where players fit with their teammates. Hybrid players help keep teams as competitive as possible and usually gives the hybrid player a better experience. We might offer these players a position with a 6-month team, but only required to stay 3 months.

These teams practice 3 times a week, MWF where 3-month teams only practice twice a week.

Cost: $950 each season, (see payments schedules)

4 tournament dates minimum per 3 months

FAQs about Hybrid players:

Can hybrid players play all 6 months if they want to? To be considered, hybrid players must give a statement of intent prior to spring tryouts. This still does not guarantee their spot on the team, they are still competing with other players from spring tryouts. They will be notified after tryouts if they will be offered to stay with the team or  given other options.

Should winter hybrid players go to Spring tyrouts? No, as long as they have made their intentions known, we are evaluating them their entire winter season and should not attend Spring tryouts
